Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how we work, when you pay, and what each route involves.
The firm & our guarantee
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes — completely. We discuss your goals, assess your eligibility across our destinations, and tell you honestly where you stand. You only ever pay after your admission or visa is confirmed.
When exactly do I pay?
For study clients, your fee becomes due once your university admission is confirmed. For work visa clients, once your work visa is confirmed. Nothing is due in advance, and we never display or charge hidden fees.
Who will actually handle my case?
Managing Director and immigration lawyer Khuzama Ali Butt personally oversees every file, supported by our case manager and consultants. Your case is never passed around a call centre.
Where are you located and do I need to visit in person?
Our office is at 3F-A, Building A5/9, Block H Commercial, Valencia, Lahore. Most steps can be handled by phone and WhatsApp, so we regularly serve clients across Pakistan — visits are welcome but not required for every step.
Which visa offices will I need to attend in Pakistan?
It depends on the destination: US applicants interview at the US Embassy in Islamabad or the Consulate General in Karachi; most European applications go through the relevant embassy in Islamabad or visa application centres (such as VFS or BLS) in Lahore, Islamabad or Karachi. We book and prepare you for the right appointment.
Can you guarantee a visa?
No honest firm can — the decision always rests with the embassy. What we guarantee is that you pay nothing until your admission or visa is actually confirmed, so the risk of the process stays with us, not you.
Study routes
USA: What makes Silverstone's US practice different?
Two things: admissions through 350+ partner universities processed in as little as 5 working days, and visa interview preparation led by a former US visa officer who knows exactly how applications from Pakistan are assessed.
Canada: Can I work while studying?
[Draft — confirm current rules] Eligible study permit holders can work part-time during studies and may qualify for a post-graduation work permit afterwards. We confirm the current allowance for your program at consultation.
Austria & Italy: Are these routes really that affordable?
[Draft — confirm figures] Public universities in Austria charge very low tuition, and Italian universities calculate fees on family income, with regional scholarships that can cover living costs. We'll run the real numbers for your family situation at consultation.
France & Spain: Do I need to speak French or Spanish?
[Draft] Not necessarily — both countries offer a growing range of English-taught programs. Learning the local language helps with daily life and job prospects, and we can point you to preparatory pathways.
Work visa routes
Do I need a job offer before applying for a work visa?
[Draft — confirm per country] For most of our work routes (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece), yes — an employer or sponsor is central to the application. In your free consultation we assess your profile and explain how employer matching works for your target country.
Which sectors have the most demand in Europe?
[Draft] Demand is generally strongest in agriculture, construction, hospitality, logistics and care work, with skilled routes (including the EU Blue Card) for qualified professionals. Sector lists change — we confirm the current picture at consultation.
How long does a European work visa take?
[Draft] Realistically, several months for most routes — Italy's Decreto Flussi additionally runs on annual quota windows. We give you a written, route-specific expectation at consultation and keep your file actively tracked.
Does the pay-after-confirmation guarantee really apply to work visas?
Yes. Exactly the same rule as our study clients: your fee becomes due only when your work visa is confirmed. No advance payments.
